Our probiotic cheeses have been developed from our traditional Cheddar
and Half Fat cheese recipes. The difference is that we boost the level
of BB-12® Bifidobacterium, which occurs in very small quantities in our
cheese anyway. This makes no difference to the flavour or texture of the cheese.
Probiotics can help to boost the level of naturally occurring 'good' bacteria in our bodies, aiding digestion and general well-being.
Perfect
for use in sandwiches and salads, our probiotic cheese provides you
with a means to increase your probiotic intake through your everyday
food. Made to a mild, medium or mature recipe, each cheese is smooth in texture with a great flavour.

Q How much should I eat a day?
A You can eat as much of this cheese as you like, but just a daily 20g piece of Cricketer Farm Probiotic Cheddar will give you 100% probiotic benefit.
Q Can I eat this with other probiotic products?
A Yes, you can, but we'd prefer you to eat more of our cheese!!
Q Can I overdose on probiotic/friendly bacteria?
A No,
you can eat many probiotic products, but we do advise that they should
not be used to compensate for lack of a balanced diet.
Q Can I use it in cooking?
A Our Probiotic Cheese cooks just like a normal cheese, but by heating it, you will lose the probiotic benefit.
