Cricketer’s Quantock Gold launches in The Co-operative

30th August 2008
Award-winning Somerset cheesemaker Cricketer Farm has announced that its luxurious Jersey and Guernsey Cheddar cheese, Quantock Gold, has launched in The Co-operative stores throughout the Country.  The Company’s Quantock Gold has been successfully selling in major retailers for many years.  Quantock Gold has a delicious buttery taste, rich creamy texture and golden colour, and is made to a traditional recipe using milk from Jersey and Guernsey cows sourced from local farmers in Somerset and Devon.

“We are truly delighted to be working with The Co-operative and are sure that our Quantock Gold will be a great success with its customers.  Each of our cheeses is made using over 60 years of traditional cheesemaking experience and we have worked closely with our local farmers on the creation of this recipe.  Quantock Gold is one of our most decadent cheeses, with a taste that is incomparable.  With all the rich, luxurious characteristics of Jersey and Guernsey milk and a golden colour and creamy palate, Quantock Gold will make a welcome addition to any cheeseboard, salad or recipe!”

Quantock Gold is packed in 240g pieces, and is available in The Co-operative stores and independent retailers throughout the Country.
