Cricketer Farm based in Somerset is celebrating
after achieving 12 new awards for its range of traditional and healthier
cheeses, cream and butter. The Company, which
has been making award-winning cheeses for over 60 years, recently launched a
new range of branded cheeses at the world-renowned Nantwich International
Cheese Show, including a Cricketer Farm Cheddar and Quantock Gold Cheddar.
One of the Country’s leading innovative cheesemakers, Cricketer Farm is known for its skill and traditional expertise, which is recognised by major and independent retailers. “So far it has been a great year for Cricketer and we are delighted to have been presented with these awards,” said Sales and Marketing Manager, Jo Carter. “For the very first time we have launched Cricketer branded cheeses and we received excellent feedback from both trade and consumers at the Nantwich Show. We worked incredibly hard with our designer to ensure that the new brand conveys the history and heritage of Cricketer and also that the packs stand out on shelf amongst our competitors and we are hoping for great success. These new cheeses and awards recognise the continued hard work, experience and dedication of our cheesemakers,” finished Jo.
Each of Cricketer’s cheeses is made to a traditional recipe using full fat or semi-skimmed milk, producing a range of Farmhouse Cheddar, half fat and reduced fat cheeses. Nothing artificial is added to produce its healthier cheeses; the fat is simply taken away from the milk, which is sourced from local farmers.
Cricketer Farm’s new cheeses are available in shelf-ready packaging for ease of display in retail outlets.
